Photos of Poor Guy Begs Across the Streets After Losing Job Due to Pandemic Circulate Online

The heartbreaking photos of a poor guy wandering and living across the streets after losing his job due to pandemic earn reactions online.

The Facebook page “GMA News” has shared the photos of Ebrahim who is a locally stranded individual wandering the streets of Manila after losing his job. The photos elicits comments from the netizens.

The 21-year-old guy looks like a beggar while wandering the streets of Manila because of his physical appearance. He is a high school graduate and supposed to go to college if he did not go to Manila.

In February 2020, Ebrahim decided to leave Cotabato and went to Manila for work with P10,000 cash on his pocket. Unfortunately, he lost his job and got evicted from his boarding house.

Ebrahim is only one of the 50 locally stranded individuals who were temporarily residing outside the Libingan ng mga Bayani wherein the government’s isolation facility for LSIs can be located.

Unfortunately, the facility is already full and refused to accept them since no more accommodations are available. The LSIs have no choice but to live in the streets.
