Ogie Rosa has a message to Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla
Palanca award-winning writer Ogie Rosa slammed Kapamilya TV host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla over the latter’s statement about the beautification work being done in Manila Bay.
Ogie Rosa, a veteran writer, posted on his Twitter account his reaction to Mariel’s message about the white sand project of Manila Bay.
According to Ogie Rosa: “Noong ipinapasara ang kumpanyang pinagtatrabahuhan niya, ‘di siya nagsasalita. Ngayon na pekeng buhangin ang topic, can you believe it? Ngayon siya nagsasalita?”
The writer is referring to the closure of the Kapamilya network or ABS-CBN.
Mariel Padilla recently lambasted the critics of the white sand project of manila bay.
She said: “Nung puro basura walang nagrereklamo ngayon na pinaganda… can you believe it? Ngayon sila nag reklamo? Ang hindi ko maintindihan is lagi natin hinahanap kung saan napunta yung tax na binabayad natin… ayan oh.. atleast yan nakikita natin diba. Tapos mag complain parin?”

Meanwhile, last week Manila Bay was reopened to the public for the first time. But it was flooded with criticism after people flocked there.
Due to the influx of people, social distancing or physical distancing, which is one of the IATF protocols, was not followed.
Manila Bay is currently closed and according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), it will open after the pandemic.
