Ogie Diaz slammed Quezon City 5th District Rep. Alfred Vargas for his proposal to encourage foreigners to shoot their movies in the Philippines.
“Nako, Alfred Vargas! Totoo bang mahal mo ang industriya mo? Di ko gets logic mo,” Ogie tweeted while posting an article about Alfred.

In his recent privilege speech, Alfred Vargas cited the supposed shooting of Tom Cruise’s “Mission Impossible” movie in the Philippines did push through.
However, according to bandera.inquier.net, his comments only gained the ire of netizens. He also did not miss the outrage of social media people with some calling him “balimbing.”
Alfred Vargas was among those who inhibited/abstain from the franchise renewal application of ABS-CBN.
Last July 10, the country’s largest broadcasting network finally bid goodbye airing on free TV after its franchise has been denied.
The denial resulted in the retrenchment of ABS-CBN workers with some transferring to other networks.
