But in his latest interview with PEP.ph, he disowned the actor as his “son” and claimed that he was forced to admit it by then showbiz columnist and TV host Inday Badiday.

In his interview, Mel Francisco shared that he broke his silence to express his views about the controversies surrounding the fund-raising launched for John Regala.
He also defended Nadia Montenegro, Chuckie Dreyfus and Aster Amoyo who have been accused by John Regala himself for allegedly not giving him any money from the donations.
Aileen Dreyfus, the wife of Chuckie, even issued a statement to refute the claims of John Regala.
In a post she said, “please Mr. Regala, stop making up stories. Magpagaling ka na lang and use the remaining cash donations that we deposited (kung meron pa) for your medications. Gastusin mo sa tama.”
