Megan Young shares this photo from seven years ago
Kapuso star Megan Young recalled her crowning moment in the Miss World 2013 through her recent Instagram post.
Megan entered the entertainment industry during her teen years through the Kapuso talent search StarStruck. She had a short stint in the Kapamilya network but eventually she returned to GMA.
In 2013, she joined the Miss World Philippines. She won and represented the country in the international pageant that was held in Bali, Indonesia in the same year.
After her reign and after passing her crown to her successor, Megan Young kept on returning in Miss World pageants but as a judge or a host. For several editions, she was the host of the pageant and many pageant fans have been admiring her hosting skills.
Nowadays, Megan and her husband Mikael Daez are enjoying their vlogs and podcasts. They are also fond of sharing their newlywed and throwback photos. The couple got married last January.

Just recently, the actress shared throwback photos taken during her crowning moment. “I still cannot believe this happened exactly 7 years ago. Whenever I look at photos from my year as Miss World, it still feels like a dream,” she said in the caption of her post.
Several pageant fans also reminisced this memorable moment for her and for the country. Megan Young is the first-ever Filipina to win the Miss World crown.
