Joshua Garcia cringey? Markus Paterson reacts
Markus Paterson defended Joshua Garcia, his girlfriend Janella Salvador’s love team, from netizens calling the actor “cringey” now that they know the actress has a boyfriend.
According to Markus Paterson, he was one of the supporters of Janella and Joshua back then.
But he could no longer bear the hurtful words against Joshua and one of these was when the latter is being dubbed “cringey.”
Markus Paterson said in an interview with Kyle Echarri: “I’ve been seeing a lot of this on Twitter, ever since we came out as a couple … There’s a lot of tweets saying that now that we’ve come out all the things that Josh used to say and do with Killer Bride is cringey and it’s like gross and stuff, but you guys have got to understand they were in a teleserye together. They’ve got to sell that to the top of their ability. There’s nothing cringey about that.”
He noted that he understood the situation which is why it took a year and eight months before they confess their relationship.
Markus Paterson also praised Joshua for working with Janella. Their tandem is dubbed as “JoshNella.”
“I will never call Josh selfish or like gross or cringey because he was doing his job. He is promoting the love team. He is promoting the show. I think he did perfectly,” he said.
In the same interview, Markus Paterson also shared about his relationship with Janella.
According to the entertainment website, Push, the actor and singer said that the love he feels for Janella is unparalleled.
Meanwhile, Janella earlier made headlines after she’s being rumored of being pregnant. But the actress has not yet confirmed the reports.
