Apparently, the reason had something to do with Janella’s successful love team with his girlfriend’s on-screen partner Joshua Garcia.
To recall, Markus and Janella recently confirmed their long-rumored romance through social media posts.
In a conversation with Kyle Echarri on the latter’s recent vlog, Markus said that he had been with Janella — whom he called his girlfriend “love of my life” — for a year and eight months already.

When asked what made him think that it’s time for him and his girlfriend to own up to the relationship, Markus revealed that it’s because of this reason — he and Janella were having a “huge surge of bashing” on Instagram and Twitter.
The bashing came from several JoshNella fans who wanted Janella to end up for real with actor Joshua Garcia. Although Markus said that he had nothing against Joshua and he understood why JoshNella tandem clicked.
Meanwhile, a source previously told PEP.ph that it was confirmed that Janella Salvador was pregnant and was due to give birth on October.
