“I don’t know. I don’t know if we have a relationship anymore,”
Those were the words of Lotlot de Leon when asked about her relationship with her former mother-in-law Pilita Corrales, the mother of her ex-husband Ramon Christopher or Monching Gutierrez.
Their feud started when the 49-year-old actress and Pilita Corrales’s son got separated.
Recently, the issue between the two erupted again due to the Pilita’s comment on the Twitter post of Janine Gutierrez- Monching and Lotlot’s daughter, about Senator Bong Revilla.
According to the actress, it does not matter to her if she no longer has a relationship with her former mother-in-law because what is important to her is that Pilita loves her grandchildren.
“Sa akin kasi, okey na mahal n’ya yung mga anak ko, eh. Okey na yung mahal n’ya yung mga apo n’ya. For me, kahit hindi na ako, eh, di ba? Okey na sa akin, mga bata na lang,” she said.
“And in fairness to her, she’s always been there for my children as well. And because of that, I’m grateful to her. I’m grateful for the kindness she has always shown to my kids,” she added.

Lotlot de Leon and Monching Gutierrez got married in 1989 and annulled in 2008.
