Metro Manila Largest Quarantine Facility Contains 600-Bed Capacities
The largest quarantine facility in Metro Manila donated by Razon Group containing 600 beds has been inaugurated in Parañaque City.
The state-run Radio Television Malacañang reported that the Razon Group has turned over the 600-bed quarantine facility to the government. The facility is reportedly worth P225 million.
The facility has been called as the Solaire-PAGCOR Mega Quarantine Center. It can accommodate over 600 patients or individuals showing mild symptoms of the coronavirus disease.
The new facility could accommodate patients in Metro Manila and from its nearby provinces including Rizal, Batangas, Quezon, and Laguna. It can be located at the Bagong Nayong Pilipino in the city of Parañaque.
Solaire Resort & Casino representative Michael Ray Aquino said that the Razon Group and the government officials have agreed to welcome the individuals with COVID-19 symptoms. Solaire takes over the construction of the building.
“Kung ano ang kailangan ng ating bansa… gagawin talaga namin whether it’s through Solaire or through ICTSI or through multiple cooperations with our regulatory agencies, itutuloy pa rin namin ‘yan,” Bloomberry Resorts Corporation director Christian Gonzalez said.
