Former PBB housmate Gerald Anderson was dragged in the breakup of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. He was accused of being the third party in the relationship. He and Julia worked together in the film Between Maybes.
Recently, in a segment of Cinema News At Home, Joshua admitted that Gerald is the person he wanted to talk to with no holds barred. He revealed that during the COVID-19 lockdown, he even sent a message to his fellow former PBB housemate.
According to Joshua Garcia, he wanted to clear the air between him and Gerald Anderson and he does not like being awkward with someone he shares the same industry with. Based on the report, he shared a glimpse of the text message he sent.
“Tinext ko siya, sabi ko, ‘Bro, Joshua ito. Gusto ko lang maging honest, lahat… Pero hindi pa siya nagre-reply. Hanggang dun lang ang kaya kong ibigay na text,” the young actor said.
Joshua clarified that he is already “cool” towards Gerald. He stressed that he is his older brother as they have the same handler in the industry and he has no issue with him.
