Anjo Yllana Speaks on Past Issue w/ Rustom Padilla
ANJO YLLANA – The Palibhasa Lalake actor admitted that he was really very hurt on his past issue with former matinee idol Rustom Padilla.
One of the celebrity revelations that really hooked a lot of people was the revelation of actor Rustom Padilla when he was inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. He admitted his real gender preference and it surprised a lot of people.
Following it, Rustom was known as BB Gandanghari. According to him, “Rustom is dead”. He is currently living in the United States.
Undeniably, before Rustom Padilla admitted his real gender preference, there were already questions about him. There was even a past issue involving the actor and Anjo Yllana for the jokes of the latter in the 1993 ABS-CBN sitcom Palibhasa Lalake.

Based on a report on Pep, the said jokes of Anjo and fellow actor John Estrada sparked issues and led to Carmina Villarroel’s resignation from the show. The actress was in a relationship with Rustom then.
Recently, Anjo Yllana broke his silence on his past issue with Rustom Padilla. Based on the article, he stressed that he “was really very hurt” about it as Rustom was also his friend and he and Carmina are working together in the show.
“Sa totoo, nung ipinagawa sa akin ng assistant director, siyempre po as an actor, parang sumusunod lang tayo sa utos,” the Palibhasa Lalake actor said to DZRH.
Anjo stressed that he really regretted the said incident as he does not want to hurt the feelings of other people. According to him, he respects the actor and as well as his identity as BB Gandanghari now.
