Vanessa Matsunaga recovers from COVID-19

Vanessa Matsunaga, the sister of actor-model Daniel Matsunaga who was hospitalized due to emergency appendix removal surgery but later on contracted COVID-19, recovers from the dreaded disease.

It was on Jully 19 when she took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she shared that she underwent emergency appendix removal surgery.

But according to her, a few days after she was sent home following her operation, she received her rt-PCR test results and it turned out positive.

She shared that she’s scared at the time since her two kids; David and Isabella who have been exposed to her might get the virus as well.

Fortunately, her children and even her husband-businessman Jun Sunga turned out negative from COVID-19.

“God revealed to me that He is my doctor, my medicine and my shield, that He was healing me and that no weapon formed against me and my family will ever prosper,” she said.

“Praise God! I’m sharing this to you today, to remind you that you are loved and cared for, even when we don’t have answers to our questions and can’t seem to understand why certain things happen in our lives,” she added.

Vanessa Matsunaga is still recovering although she went through three tests already.
