Vanessa Matsunaga, the sister of actor-model Daniel Matsunaga was hospitalized due to emergency appendix removal surgery.
Earlier, she took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she shared a photo of herself lying on the hospital bed.
According to her, she was hospitalized over the weekend after undergoing emergency appendix removal surgery.
“I had an emergency surgery to have my appendix removed. Praise God that it didn’t happen while we were locked down at the beach and that it happened when we were just settling back at home,” Matsunaga wrote.
In her post, she also clarified that she was brought to the hospital not because of contracting Coronavirus Disease 2019.
She shared “being in the hospital during this time is not easy for both patients and front-liners. I experienced it first hand.”
Vanessa Matsunaga has already left the hospital where she was admitted and had the surgery but unfortunately, she won’t be reunited with her children for a while.
