Robi Domingo became emotional as he bids farewell to retrenched employees and video jockeys of MYX, a music channel affiliated with ABS-CBN.
On Saturday, the 30-year-old TV host turned emotional as he read the official statement of MYX its retrenched workers.
“Trust me, reading this statement was one of the most difficult tasks I had to do,” he wrote as the caption to his post.
“Thank you for the magical moments and learnings, MYX. You will always be my home. Whatever happens, I will continue to support the No. 1 music channel in the Philippines.”
But according to him via an article published by ABS-CBN News, Myx- the music channel which has been operating for 19 years already will continue to air online, via cable and thru social media.
Meanwhile, thousands of workers of the country’s largest broadcasting network lost their jobs after its network franchise has been denied.
Among those who bid farewell from the network are some of the networks well-known personalities such as Ted Failon, Korina Sanchez, Bernadette Sembrano, Anthony Taberna and to name a few.
Many decided to transfer to another network but some choose to remain.
