Photo of Residents Wearing Improvised Face Shields Goes Viral
The photo of two residents wearing an improvised face shields on motorcycle goes viral after it was posted on social media.
Previously, the Philippine government advised the public to wear face shields when using public transportation. The proposal aims to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease in the country.
However, some of our countrymen could not afford to buy one and some of them find it as additional expenses. Several Filipinos have already created their own Personal Protective Equipment.
The Facebook page “Biliran Blogs” has shared the photo of a male and female resident riding together on a motorcycle wearing improvised face shields. The photo spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that the two are wearing face shields made of used water bottle containers instead of commercialized face shields being sold online and in the market. The two are already wearing face masks inside the improvised PPEs.
The photo has a caption of:
“Wala ng mas tipid pa sa bao ng niyog.”
