Netizens Laud PWD Farmer for Working Hard Despite Disability
SANTO DOMINGO, ALBAY – A PWD farmer earned praises from the online community for working hard despite his physical condition.
Tatay Samuel Baluso of Barangay Santo Niño in Santo Domingo, Albay is now making rounds online after photos have been posted on social media. Baluso is a person with disability and suffering from a disease called “Polio”.
The old man gets ‘polio’ when he was only 3-year-old, which makes one of his leg smaller than the other leg. However, his disability did not stop him to work and make a living just to support the financial necessities of his family.
Baluso is wearing slippers on his hands while traveling to his farm since he can’t use his legs anymore to walk. He is enduring the hardships of life just to raise and provide the needs of his three children.
The Municipal Agriculture Office lauded Tatay Samuel for his hardwork and determination in life. The government would prioritize the PWD farmer.
However, the poor farmer is hoping that the government would give him a certain amount of cash so he would not borrow money to buy seeds, fertilizers, and other stuff for planting.
The online community lauded the farmer for his perseverance:
