Nadine Lustre has this response with Roque’s statement
Nadine Lustre took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram to react with the recent statement of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque about the unemployment rate.
According to the presidential spokesman, only 45% lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
“Ako ay nagagalak na hindi tayo 100 percent nawalan ng trabaho kasi sa tagal na naka lockown kayo, talagang I’m still surprised at our resilience at 45 percent pa lang ang nawawalan sa trabaho. It could have been worse kasi complete lockdown ang nangyari sa atin,” he said.
Based on the survey conducted by the Social Weather Station, the unemployment rate in the country is at 45.5 percent which is equivalent to 27.3 million jobless Filipinos.

Meanwhile, Nadine earlier went to Instagram wherein she posted on her IG stories a zipper mouth emoji in response to Roque’s statement.
Her IG story which was screen-captured by entertainment website, Fashion Pulis has earned numerous reactions and comments from the netizens.
Many lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But according to Roque, the primary solution in order to prevent the surge of unemployment is to reopen the economy.
