KRIS AQUINO – The netizens reacted to the tribute of the Queen of All Media for her late dad, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

Two (2) of the most significant personalities in the history of the Philippines are the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino and his wife, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

Ninoy and Cory are known as heroes of democracy. He got imprisoned and suffered from a heart attack. For his medical treatment, he and his family flew to the United States.

For three years, Ninoy has spent time with his family. In her tribute for her late dad on his death anniversary, actress-TV host Kris Aquino said that the former Senator really worked hard to earn her love and they really spent a lot of time together.

According to Kris, she was only one year old and seven months when Ninoy was put to jail. In U.S., he goes to all the schools events of her youngest daughter and they also had book shopping and ice cream dates every month.

The actress-TV host tagged those three years with her dad as “borrowed time”. When Ninoy came back to the Philippines, he was shot at the airport which led to his death.

The death of the former Senator left countless hearts in tears and crying for justice. It was followed by the rising of his widow, Cory Aquino, into becoming the first female president of the country.

Back to Kris Aquino’s tribute for her late dad Ninoy, she detailed how he waited for four hours with her to watch “The Return of Jedi”. Also, she reminisced the look on his dad’s face when they watched the taped interview of a local news to Kris when they were waiting for the movie.
