What happened to the new show of Kris Aquino?
Actress-host Kris Aquino has a new show on TV5 but it has been postponed twice and this created speculations that she is a âvictim of politicsâ.
After several years, fans of Kris have been waiting for her TV comeback. For quite some time, the Queen of all Media has utilized the digital platform.
That is why many viewers missed her shows on TV. Kris used to do a lot of talk shows. She has also done several teleseryes and movies under ABS-CBN.
Now that she is set to return to television, fans have been anticipating her new talk show Love Life with Kris. However, the launch of the new show was delayed.

In line with this, TV5 President and CEO Robert Galang and Director Perci Intalan clarified that the postponement of Kris Aquinoâs show has nothing to do with politics, based on the article from Abante.
They stressed that there was no pressure or whatsoever from any political figure regarding the delayed show of the actress-host. The TV executives also said that Kris is very much welcome in their network and that they are also excited for her new show.
However, the problem is within the showâs production team. The management of TV5 was just informed that the show is not yet ready to be launched on August 15 along with other new shows.
The TV executives also admitted that Kris Aquino is a big help for their network. âOo naman, malaking tulong si Kris, Kris is Kris. Nakita niyo naman, with the few things happened sa show niya, pinag-uusapan na agad, âyun ang power ng isang Kris Aquino,â they said.
