South Korean pop group BTS had recently broke the record for being the most-viewed video on YouTube in the first 24 hours.

This, as its latest English track “Dynamite” already garnered 98.3 million views in the first 24 hours, and had shattered the record of BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” of being the most-viewed video on YouTube in the first 24 hours of 86.3 million views.

Although the main goal of its fans – which wasn’t achieved in the first 24 hours – was to reach 100 million views in the first 24 hours on YouTube, the music video of the said track had surpassed 100 million views in 24 hours and 27 minutes.

As of this writing, the said video already reached over 105 million views on YouTube.

The said record was previously held by fellow South Korean pop group BLACKPINK, who had 1.65 million concurrent viewers on the YouTube premiere of their latest track “How You Like That” last June.

Earlier, BTS members said that they hoped that their song will give “positivity” and “comfort” to people around the world who were exhausted due to pandemic.
