Andi Eigenmann shrugs off bashers belittling her partner
Andi Eigenmann reacts to bashers criticizing her partner Philmar Alipayo for being a “probinsyano.”
On their latest vlog, the couple answered several questions about them such as how they met and to name a few.
Philmar Alipayo said that it was difficult for his part to have a celebrity partner because of bashers.
Andi Eigenmann then said: “Parang bakit yung Pilipino sa tingin nila yung itsura ng Pilipino pangit, like my partner’s maitim, hello that’s so nice kaya.”
According to her, she did not expect that others would say negative things against Philmar for being a “probinsyano” and his skin color.
Andi Eigenmann dismissed the trolls and stressed: “while people are being mean, we’re happy.”
When they first started dating, Andi shared that Philmar used to tell her that people don’t like them to be together since the latter was from the province.
“Sabi niya, ‘people don’t like us together kasi taga-isla lang ako,’ he said that to me OMG,” Andi said.
“Taga-isla ka lang,’ don’t ever say that. ‘Taga-isla ka lang,’ don’t say that that’s a ‘lang’ lang thing because to me, you guys are the richest people on earth to be surrounded by such beauty, nature, and living in paradise like this,” she added.
