Actor Diego Loyzaga was set to star in a new film.

Actor Diego Loyzaga was about to return to the big screen as he was set to star in a new film.

This, as Diego was retuning to cinemas two years after his last comedy film project “Petmalu”.

It was last August 18 when Viva Artists Agency — Diego’s new talent agency — officially announced that Diego will star in a new film alongside AJ Raval who also a Viva artist.

The working title of the said project, according to Viva Artists Agency, was “Loving Christine” and would be directed by Yam Laranas — who was known for films “The Road”, “Aurora”, “Abomination”, and “The Echo”.

The said film was Diego’s first acting project after ending his showbiz break this month.

Diego was recently introduced as Viva Artists Agency’s newest contract artist.

Diego said in an online press conference that fans could expect more projects from him as he really wanted to focus on his craft — his acting skills.

He also said that he wanted to have a lot of films under his belt as he wanted the public to watch him in a lot of films. Morever, he said that he’s ready to accept mature roles.
