Here’s the answer of Vilma Santos about possible future political plans
Representative Vilma Santos-Recto of the 6th District of Batangas was asked if she will run for Vice President in 2022 and here is her answer.
The Star for all Season has been known as one of the most prominent actresses in the Philippines. Outside showbiz, she is also known for her public service.
During the recent Facebook Live of showbiz reporters Ogie Diaz and MJ Felipe, Ate Vi was watching and so she said hi to them. Based on the article from Bandera, the reporters took the chance to ask questions to the lawmaker.
“Sana Ogs si ate Vi, tumakbo ng Vice President (Pilipinas),” MJ said. Ogie agreed to what his co-host said and said that he will support the lawmaker in whatever position she will aspire in the future.
Vilma Santos with this: “Sobra naman! Salamat po salamat po! Lagi niyo lang ipagdasal pamilya ko bansa natin at guidance sa pagiging public servant ko! Love you Mama Ogs. Miss you too MJ! Ingat kayo palagi! Love you.”

Since the actress-politician did not answer directly the question from the reporters, Ogie said that it means “yes”. To this, the congresswoman answered, “No political ambition!”
Ogie Diaz did not stop from there as he continued to sound like he was convincing the Star for all Season. “Ate Vi, ikaw ang kailangan namin, eh! ‘Yung tulad mo ang kailangan namin,” he said.
He added that if Vilma Santos would answer, people should believe that but if she did not answer, that means she is taking the matter into consideration.
