Toni Gonzaga has this post for ABS-CBN
Kapamilya actress-host Toni Gonzaga shared a post as her show of support for ABS-CBN, however, netizens noticed her ‘contradicting’ statements.
Toni, although started in GMA through her hosting stint on Eat Bulaga, her career took a higher notch when she transferred to ABS-CBN. She showed her versatility as she can sing, act, and do hosting.
As her home network is facing the biggest crisis it could possibly encounter, Toni showed support. In her recent Instagram post, she shared how painful it is to read messages of goodbye from her co-workers.
The actress also criticized those who are in “position” for what happened to the Kapamilya network. “Sa lahat ng nasa posisyon ngayon, hindi namin makakalimutan ang ginawa nyo sa mga trabahador ng ABSCBN,” she said.

Several netizens thanked and commended her for speaking up for her home network. Then, the TV host wrote a comment on her own post stating she does not intend to blame those who are in position.
Based on the article from PEP, netizens noticed her “contradicting” statements. “This is not putting blame on people in position. This is a reminder to us that no matter who is in position,” she said.
Toni also reminded all the Kapamilya that there is hope. However, she has this reiteration: “We will not forget what the people who have power did to us and we respect their decision with all humility.”
Because of this, she received negative comments from netizens as they pointed out that she was contradicting her first statement.
