Congratulations, mother Elena Dacuran-Agualada!
A 44-year-old mother from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, successfully graduated senior high school while working as a caretaker and a laundrywoman.
In a Facebook post from Ryzinnia Agualada, she said that she was proud of Elena Dacuran-Agualada for successfully graduated senior high school, adding that her mother was about to proceed to college.
She also said that they will support her mother until she successfully graduated from her dream profession — to become a teacher.
“Sa susunod ako Naman ganyan“, she said.
In a report on ABS-CBN News, Elena didn’t give up on her studies despite being bullied by other students because of her age.

As per the report, she told those like her who wanted to study again, saying that they shouldn’t be shy and ignore what others are saying to them.
Moreover, ABS-CBN News reported that Elena Dacuran-Agualada planned to take an Education course, yet she didn’t reveal where will she enroll for her college degree.
