Actress Maritoni Fernandez married her partner Mon Dayrit in a civil wedding that transpired on Tuesday, July 7 in Paranaque City.
Earlier, the 51-year-old actress took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she posted a photo of her alongside her husband at the city hall of Paranaque
Her post is accompanied by the caption: “My forever #barleyqueenismarried #aintnomontonhighenough.”
In another post, she shared a photo of her and her husband in their reception.
“Nothing fancy, just love,” she noted with the hashtags: #myforever, #monton #beyondblessed, and #barleyqueenweds.
Their photos have been flooded with messages of congratulations from their followers and among their well-wishers are celebrities like Heart Evangelista, Lorna Tolentino, and Geneva Cruz.
Maritoni Fernandez is an actress and model who rose to fame after starring in some of the popular television series in the country.
She has starred both in ABS-CBN and GMA-7 shows such as It Might Be You, Carlo J. Caparas’ Bakekang, Lobo, A Beautiful Affair with her latest TV appearance via Victor Magtanggol.
According to GMA Network, she was diagnosed with Stage 2A Breast Cancer on her right breast while she’s in the United States in the year 2001.
But after a year of fighting the disease, she was able to survive and is living a normal life since then.
