Message of Actress-Singer Lea Salonga for ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak
LEA SALONGA – The Kapamilya actress-singer took to the social media a message for ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak.
A lot of issues are being faced by the ABS-CBN network now. Currently, the broadcasting operation of the network is on off-air following the National Telecommunications Commission’s Order.
The NTC released a Cease and Desist Order against the Kapamilya network over its expired franchise. Several issues are surrounding the network including tha taxes it paid.
Currently, the ABS-CBN network has yet to return to its full operation. Hearings regarding its franchise and the issues surrounding the network are ongoing.

The Kapamilya bosses appear on the hearings for the franchise of the ABS-CBN network. One of them is the network’s president, Carlo Katigbak. Undeniably, many people admire how he remains calm amid all the issues.
Recently, on social media, Kapamilya actress-singer Lea Salonga expressed his admiration for ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak as a leader. She also left a message of support for him.
The Broadway actress stated that Carlo is always “filled with grace and calm” and always smiling during all the times she met him. She admitted she fears that things may not go the way in favor for the network.
Meanwhile, amid her fear, Lea is certain of the kind of leader Carlo is – that “he will continue to lead without acting the bully or throwing his weight”. According to the singer-actress, he is the kind of leader she resonates, she follows, and she wants to be.
In her Twitter post, Lea Salonga gave a message for Carlo Katigbak. She assured the ABS-CBN President that whatever happens, she supports him.
