Piolo Pascual supports the administration
Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual is showing consistent support for the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte amid the ABS-CBN franchise issue.
Piolo has spent most of his years in the entertainment industry under the umbrella of the Kapamilya network. With his success in various fields such as acting, recording, and hosting, he is now considered as one of the A-list stars of the ABS-CBN.
Amid the issue of franchise renewal of the TV giant, Piolo is one of the Kapamilya celebrities who use social media to show support for their home network.
On the other hand, although there were criticisms against the government due to this coming from Kapamilya talents, Piolo Pascual appeared to be having a different thought when it comes to the administration.
Just recently, the actor, together with prominent director Joyce Bernal and the production staff, went to Sagada, a municipality in the Cordilla Mountains.Direk Joyce also serves as a manager of Piolo, based on the article from Pang-Masa.

They were supposed to shoot in the said place for the State of the Nation Address of President Duterte that is set to happen on July 27. Direk Joyce has already directed the past SONA of the Chief Executive of the Philippines.
However, there were not allowed to condut the shoot even though they have an authorization letter from Malacanang. Based on the article, it is because of the health protocol in Sagada regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The municipality has remained free from the virus amid the health crisis in the country.
According to entertainment columnist Salve Asis, it is quite expected that Piolo Pascual will be with Direk Joyce Bernal’s project. With this, Asis said that it is quite remarkable for the A-list actor to show his consistent support for President Duterte.
