GMA anchor and veteran broadcast journalist Howie Severino was apprehended by barangay officers and police for briefly not wearing a face mask.
Howie Severino was brought to the Amoranto Stadium where a hundred others including elderly and women were placed for committing violations.
Photojournalist Luis Liwanag said that Howie Severino was caught off guard after pulling down his mask momentarily just to drink water at the time.

Howie and other “violators” were given a lecture on how to properly wear a mask, a mandatory protocol, especially in public places.
