Father and Son Shot by Angry Relatives After Mistaken as Witches Due to Death of Their Loved Ones
NEGROS OCCIDENTAL – A father and son passed away after mercilessly shot by angry relatives after they were mistaken as witches.
Last Sunday (July 19, 2020), the Binalbagan Police reported that a man named Crisanto Espante Sr. and his son Crisanto Jr. died after shot by their angry relatives. The incident happened while the victims are selling their meat products.
The victims were selling their meat products besides the road in their village when four armed men arrived at the area and shot them. The Espanto victims immediately died due to multiple gunshots.
The police authorities found out that the suspects were related to the victims. The suspects were allegedly blaming the Espantos for the death of their dad who reportedly died due to witchcraft.
The cops are now conducting manhunt operations to locate and arrest the suspects. The authorities also recovered four bullets of a .45 caliber at the crime scene.
