Carmen Soo supports ABS-CBN
Malaysian Chinese actress-model Carmen Soo aired a statement supporting the franchise renewal of Kapamilya Network or ABS-CBN.
The 42-year-old actress who once worked with ABS-CBN in the defunct series, Kahit Isang Saglit starring Jericho Rosales, Cristine Reyes, and Christopher de Leon called for all-out support for ABS-CBN.

The video which was posted by Mico Del Rosario from Star Cinema has earned the praises and admiration of Kapamilya supporters.
Aside from Carmen Soo, actors and actresses from Croatia who worked in the defunct ABS-CBN series, “Make It With You” starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, also aired a statement supporting the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
It was on May 4 when the ABS-CBN franchise expired.
On May 5, the operation of the network’s TV and radio stations nationwide was suspended due to a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
The congress has been critical in the franchise renewal of the network claiming that ABS-CBN committed the following violations: citizenship of network owner Gabby Lopez III, labor practices, alleged improper tax payments, use of Philippine Depositary Receipts (PDRs), and about digital operations of the network using AMCARA Broadcasting Network franchise even though it is illegal.
