In a video sent to employees, which was obtained by Rappler, Angelina Mead King advised her employees to look for another job in order to support themselves and their families during the pandemic as the company’s decision was made “with great difficulty”. She also said that she didn’t think that motel and hotel operations would be able to “produce the same results” as the company used to.

Angelina also said that her employees would be the first ones that the company would call back. She also said that the company would have to go into “survival mode” as the company had a total of 10 branches and was one of the popular motel chains in the Philippines.
