COVID-19 test result of Ogie Alcasid
Singer/songwriter Ogie Alcasid revealed on the image-sharing site, Instagram the result of his rapid test for coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
Earlier, the 52-year-old hitmaker went through COVID-19 rapid test and his result turned out “negative.”
He was happy to announce on social media that he can now get back to work after being on hiatus for more than three (3) months due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Ogie Alcasid was one of the many local celebrities who recently went through COVID-19 rapid testing.
Recently, celebrity couple Angel Locsin and Neil Arce undergo swab testing and their test results turned out negative.
Ogie Alcasid or Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid Jr. in real life is considered as one of the iconic singers in the country.
He is currently the President of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-Aawit (OPM).
He was a mainstay of GMA-7 before he transferred to ABS-CBN where he regularly appears on ASAP and as a “hurado” on It’s Showtime – Tawag ng Tanghalan.
He is behind some of the hit singles such as Ikaw Sana, Bakit Ngayon ka Lang, Kung Mawawala Ka, Nandito Ako, Hanggang Ngayon, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala and to name a few.
He also ventured in acting via Captain Barbell in 2003, Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie in 2009, Boy Pick-Up: The Movie in 2012, and Kuya Wes in 2018.
Ogie Alcasid is the husband of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
He already has three (3) children. Two from his ex-wife Michelle van Eimeren namely Sarah and Leila and one from Regine namely Nathaniel James.
