The province of Negros Occidental has recorded 9 new coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 cases, based on the latest report.

The Provincial Incident Management Team and Provincial IATF of Negros Occidental confirmed that the province has already registered 37 COVID-19 cases.

The 9 new COVID-19 patients of Negros Occidental are the following:

Patient #29, a 22-year-old male, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Cebu. The patient whose origin is from Escalante City has been placed under LGU Facility Quarantine. He is asymptomatic.

Patient #30, a 36-year-old female, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Cebu. The patient whose origin is from Cadiz City has been placed under LGU Facility Quarantine. She is asymptomatic.

Patient #31, a 36-year-old male, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Cebu. The patient whose origin is from San Carlos City has been placed under Home Quarantine. He is asymptomatic.

Patient #32, a 45-year-old female, and a returning OFW. The patient has been placed under Hotel Quarantine. She is asymptomatic.

Patient #33, a 10-year-old male, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Manila. The patient whose origin is from Moises Padilla has been placed under LGU Facility Quarantine. He is asymptomatic.

Patient #34, a 43-year-old male, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Cebu. The patient whose origin is from Silay City has been placed under Home Quarantine. He is asymptomatic.

Patient #35, a 32-year-old female, and a returning OFW. The patient has been placed under Hotel Quarantine. She is asymptomatic.

Patient #36, a 38-year-old female, and a returning OFW. The patient has been placed under Hotel Quarantine. She is asymptomatic.

Patient #37, a 31-year-old female, and a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Manila. She is asymptomatic.
