COCO MARTIN – FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Coco Martin was advised to run for senator in the 2022 election than for mayor.

Undeniably, several actors and actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry have later on found their way to the political arena. Many realized along the way that they wanted public service thus they left the limelight temporarily, if not.

In the PH showbiz industry, one of the most prominent actors now is Kapamilya actor Coco Martin. He stars FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, the hit TV series that is airing for more than three (3) years now.

However, recently, Coco was hooked in controversies when he aired his sentiments against the shutting down of the broadcasting operation of ABS-CBN. It was due to the network’s expired franchise.

Recently, the Kapamilya actor was spotted visiting Senator Lito Lapid. They have worked together in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the Senator played the character of Romulo “Pinuno” Dumaguit.

Based on Lito Banayo’s So I See column, the actor asked some tips from the senator on the re-launching of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Aside from it, Banayo claimed that a source close to Coco Martin revealed that he was advised to run for senator amid his other friends encouraging him to vie for a mayoralty position in the 2022 election.

Based on the article, Sen. Lapid told Coco that the job of a senator is easier. Meanwhile, there are still no confirmation as to the plans of the actor. Visibly, he is now busy on the comeback of FPJAP after several weeks of not airing due to the community quarantine protocols.
