Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles recently released his statement regarding the passing of Eduardo ‘Danding’ Cojuangco Jr.

This, as Eduardo ‘Danding’ Cojuangco Jr., an 85-year-old Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of San Miguel Corporation, died due to cancer.

In his statement, Nograles said that he and his family mourned and grieved the passing of “a true titan” and one of the “last of his kind” in Philippine business and politics.

According to Nograles, “Ninong Danding” Cojuangco was a “larger than life” figure whose life shaped the course of the country’s history as his wisdom and business acuity would be missed. He added that Cojuangco’s enthusiasm for life would continue to inspire those he left behind.

Nograles added that his family offered its sincerest condolences to Cojuangco’s family and loved ones as they say goodbye to “Ninong Danding” with the knowledge that he would find peace and blessedness of his spirit.
