Rustom Padilla joined a pageant according to BB Gandanghari
BB Gandanghari recalled in her latest video blog the time Rustom Padilla joined a pageant.
Recently, the former actor took to the video-sharing platform, YouTube wherein she debunked rumors that Rustom Padilla once joined a gay pageant.
According to BB Gandanghari, Rustom Padilla actually joined a pageant but it’s a male and female pageant during his college days.
She recalled that while studying in Baguio, Rustom Padilla joined a pageant called Mister and Miss Human Sciences, and of course he represented his class under the male category.
In the said video blog, she also remembered how Rustom’s love story with Carmina Villaroel started and later on revealed in public.
It was in 1994 when Rustom Padilla and Carmina Villaroel got married. But in 1996, they separated and in 2002, their nuptials were annulled.
And in 2006, during his stint on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), Rustom Padilla publicly confessed that he is gay.
Three years after, BB Gandanghari came out as a transwoman and announced that “Rustom is dead.”
Meanwhile, it was in 2012 when Carmina Villaroel tied the knot with her long-time partner, Zoren Legaspi. Their twins Cassy and Mavy are now 19-years-old and both are GMA-7 artists.
According to entertainment website, PEP.ph, BB Gandanghari is currently in Los Angeles, California wherein she continues her modeling and acting career at the same time working as an Uber driver.
