Vegetable Vendor Arrested for Breaking Lockdown Protocols But Loses P30k to Thieves
A lady vegetable vendor bursts into tears after she lost P30,000 to thieves when she was arrested from breaking the quarantine order.
Currently, the local government units are strictly implementing the enhanced community quarantine in different parts of the country to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease.
However, there are still some hard-headed residents who continue to defy the quarantine order for both valid and invalid reasons.
The Facebook page “The Freeman” has shared the photos of a vegetable vendor in Cebu City crying after she loses P30,000 to thieves. The heartbreaking photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
The social media page reported that the unidentified lady vendor allegedly violated the enhanced community quarantine policy by going out without wearing her quarantine pass. She was arrested for her violation.
Unfortunately, the thieves stole her money while she was under the custody of the authorities who arrested her.
The investigation team of Cebu City explained that the woman together with other senior citizens violated the lockdown protocols.

I’m touched. Such amount is as much as her world. The agony she went through in earning such amount is quite heart-breaking. The police while doing their job must secure the well-being of the subjects. That’s professionalism!
