United States Coronavirus Deaths Increase by Over 1,000 in Just 24 Hours
UNITED STATES – The U.S. authorities confirmed over 1,000 deaths due to coronavirus in the country in just 24 hours.
Unexpectedly, the 2019 coronavirus or COVID-19 has posed a big challenge not only to China but to the world. The containment of its spread is really a race against time as there is over 1-million confirmed cases of the disease across the globe now.
Out of 1.2 million confirmed cases of coronavirus in the different countries, nearly 70,000 COVID-19 patients have died of the disease. The recoveries count is at 261,000 now.
The United States is the country with the most number of coronavirus cases. Based on the Worldometer’s global tally, there is now a total of 336,085 COVID-19 cases in the country.
Based on the tally, United States recently recorded 1,151 new deaths due to coronavirus. It brings the total death toll in the country to 9,602.
With regards to the recoveries, 17,245 coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease. Currently, the country is still under a national emergency.
U.S. President Donald Trump who initially unfazed by the threats of COVID-19 declared national emergency and released a huge budget for the healthcare system of the country.
Trump assured his constituents that millions of testing kits will be procured as they fight against the spread of the disease in the country. For several days now, the country is confirmed over 10,000 new cases of COVID-19 daily.
