Update on the Total Coronavirus Cases Worldwide Now

CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the globe now has exceeded 1,000,0000.

Much of the world did not expect that 2020 is packed with a huge health crisis – the 2019 novel coronavirus. Officially called as COVID-19, this pandemic has affected several countries now.

Back in December 2019, other countries were only hearing about the disease that has infected a lot of people in China, specifically in Wuhan in the province of Hubei.

In China, over 81,000 people were infected by COVID-19. The country recorded over 3,300 deaths due to the disease.

Now, several countries across the globe got coronavirus cases. Among these nations are the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Philippines, and Spain.

When it comes to the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, four (4) countries went ahead China’s record now. These are U.S., Italy, Spain, and Germany. Based on the global tally of Worldometer, the following were the nations’ COVID-19 total cases now:

  • United States – 244,433
  • Italy – 115,242
  • Spain – 112,065
  • Germany – 84,794

Based on the tally, the total coronavirus cases across the globe now has exceeded 1-million. It is at 1,014,499 after a recent jump of nearly 80,000 confirmed cases of the disease in the different countries.
