Huawei officially filed a patent for two of its upcoming smartphone models having a pull-out display that can easily extend the screen into a larger one.
The filing of this design patent came considering the successful launch of the Huawei Mate X and Huawei Mate Xs. As such, the said patent was approved last April 14, 2020, and already included in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The said design patent consists of twenty-eight (28) product renders, presenting two different smartphone models: the Model A and the Model B.
Model A
This model has a bezel-less design and a flexible screen, which was smaller than Model B. In this model, the triple-camera setup, which was placed on the right rear part, didn’t move while extending the screen.
Model B
This model has a flexible screen, which was larger than Model A. In this model, the triple-camera setup, which was placed on the left rear part, would transfer to the center while extending the screen.
