Female Nurse Posts “COVID19 Story” After Husband Tested Positive
FEMALE NURSE – A nurse shared her and her family’s story after her husband who is also a nurse tested positive for COVID-19.
The doctors and nurses are among the frontliners in the fight against COVID-19. The said coronavirus has already taken the lives of at least twelve (12) doctors and a nurse in the Philippines.
The medical professionals are more prone to coronavirus exposure as they perform their duties daily in hospitals. They interact with a lot of people and some of these patients may be positive for the said disease.
Recently, a female nurse shared on social media her family’s story after her husband tested positive for COVID-19. Her husband is also a nurse.
According to Rachelle Christy Rizon-Clavano, her husband is a nurse in the emergency room while she is in the OPD. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, they are practicing certain measures at home in terms of dealing with their kids and what to immediately do everytime they go home from hospital duties.
The female nurse stated that during those times, they were not allowed to wear a full gear to not ignite anxiety on the part of the patient. She and her husband are both close to the church and she believes they cannot be infected by the disease.
However, a colleague of her husband tested positive for coronavirus and his whole family was infected. All the nurses in the ER underwent swabbing including the husband of Rachelle.
Last April 2, the female nurse’s husband woke her up and told her that he tested positive for COVID-19. She stated that he was crying but she has not questioned the Almighty about it.
Their family went to the hospital at 8:00 in the morning and he was isolated. Rachelle, the kids, and another person from their household’s swabs were taken. After it, they went home.
While they were under a home quarantine, several people reached out to Rachelle and helped them while others did them negative things. She has kept her faith and they lived normal.
They stayed home and eventually received the good news that they are negative from coronavirus. Her husband’s swab also tested negative just within three (3) days since he was admitted.
Another test was taken and it was again negative so he was already sent home and now under home quarantine. Here’s her Facebook post:
