Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo was asked if she texted her ex-boyfriend amid the lockdown and here is her answer.

Recalling what happened last year, Bea had a controversial breakup with Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson. The latter was accused of “ghosting”. Based on the statement of the actress in an interview, the actor just started not talking to her and that there was no formal breakup that happened between them.

The name of another Kapamilya actress was also involved in the controversial breakup. Julia Barretto was accused of being the third party. She and Gerald worked together in the movie Between Maybes. Allegedly, their “relationship” started there. However, they denied the allegations against them.

Amid the extended enhanced community quarantine, Bea Alonzo was asked, during a live stream interview on Magandang Buhay, if the point came when she texted her ex-boyfriend, based on the article from ABS-CBN.

“‘Yung mga tao na tinatawagan ang ex nila kasi lockdown, huwag naman. Hindi pa ako umaabot doon. Busy pa naman ako ngayon. Okay pa naman ako. Marami naman akong time,” the actress said.

This statement from the actress went viral on social media. A tweet from Twitter user @nonononoelle was captioned with, “Bea Alonzo, Queen of Self-Control.” As of press time, the said post already has 31.9 thousand likes and 2.2 thousand retweets.

Meanwhile, Bea is one of the celebrities in the Philippines who keep themselves busy amid the lockdown by helping the less fortunate people. She also provided food and medical equipment for frontliners. Apparently, the actress is busy doing worthwhile things that would not make her reach the point of texting an ex-boyfriend.
