GMA’s statement on alleged Jessica Soho audio clip
Alleged Jessica Soho Audio Clip – GMA warns the public on the alleged audio clip of broadcast journalist Jessica Soho talking about the quarantine.
On Sunday, apparently, several netizens have received or encountered the said audio clip on social media. Reportedly some have received received this in chat. The said woman in the audio clip was talking about the development to the COVID-19 quarantine.
In line with this, the Kapuso network released an official statement disclaiming that the voice in the audio clip is Jessica Soho.
“An audio clip purportedly from Jessica Soho is making the rounds on chat groups and social media. GMA News and Public Affairs clarifies that Ms. Soho is not the woman speaking in the audio clip,” the Twitter post of GMA Public Affairs stated.
In the post, the network reiterated that the popular host of magazine show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho did not make any pronouncement regarding the quarantine.
The TV network also encouraged people to follow the official sites of GMA in order to have verified information regarding the news and issue on COVID-19 as well as the enhanced community quarantine.
