Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu was involved in a shooting incident on Wednesday morning near her house and allegations arise that it was not a case of mistaken identity.
The Chinita Princess was about to go to her taping, however, she was shocked upon hearing bullets hitting her van. Fortunately, she was laying down and was not in the usual place in her van where she often sits.
Based on the previous report, the actress chose not to read her script and just take a nap because she was sleepy. Then, she just heard the shooting. Luckily, Kim, her driver, and personal assistance were not hurt.
Amid the devastating shooting incident that involved Kim Chiu, she shared that she has no idea who did that and why someone would threaten her life. However, based on the article by Nitz Miralles in Pang-Masa, there is a possibility that it was not just a case of mistaken identity.
Seemingly, people are entertaining the possibility that the Kapamilya actress was really the target of gunmen, according to Miralles. The columnist also noticed that Kim already deleted the portion of her Instagram post stating, “Sana tinitingnan nyo muna ang plate number bago nyo paulanan ng bala yung kotse ko.”
According to Miralles, Kim was advised to be careful of sharing information about herself and the things she does on social media. It was said that there was a part in her past vlogs that she shared with her subscribers where she usually sits in her van. That was where the gunmen targeted their shots.
Another point was that the shooting incident happened just outside the village where she is living. Because of this, some believed that the gunmen were really waiting for her van, according to the article by Miralles.
