RITM Releases Results of Former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ COVID-19 Test

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos tested positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19, his spokesman confirmed.

The COVID-19, also called as the 2019 novel coronavirus, exempts no one. It can infect both young and old although senior citizens are more susceptible to it.

Across the globe, over 700,000 people were infected by the said new strain of coronavirus that was first recorded in China. More than 33,000 people died of the said disease.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 as pandemic, its effects are far beyond what was expected. Several countries closed their borders to prevent its spread.

In the Philippines, the confirmed cases of coronavirus has surpassed 2,000. Quarantines are implemented in most provinces, cities, and municipalities in the country to prevent the spread of the disease and prevent the worst.

Not only ordinary citizens were infected by the COVID-19, there are politicians and showbiz personalities who tested positive for the disease. These people are required to do quarantine.

One of the political leaders who tested for COVID-19 is former Senator Bongbong Marcos. Recently, his test result came out. Based on a report on GMA News, the former Senator is positive for coronavirus.

Meanwhile, according to Attorney Victor Rodriguez, the former Senator’s spokesperson, he is already recovering. He is staying in an isolation area.

Based on the report, it was last March 28 when Marcos received the results of his coronavirus test from the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM). He has a travel history to Europe last March 13.

Reportedly, on March 14, he already went to the hospital for a check-up as he was experiencing breathing difficulties. However, there were too many patients so he decided to went home.

The former Senator returned to the hospital on March 22 for the same reason. That was when he got tested for COVID-19.

  1. Wala na mang masama kung sundin ang makalumang paraan Kung paano masugpo ang COVID19 yan ang pagpakulo nang 3 cups of water ang put 3tbps of salt until it melted….takpan ang katawan ng kumot & inhale the steam until you.perspire….
