The COVID-19 test result of Davao City Vice Mayor Baste Duterte, who is also one of the presidential sons, was released.

Almost a week after that, his test result was released, based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal. The result of his COVID-19 test is negative. That was after his 14-day quarantine.
In a radio program of the local radio in Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) 87.5, Baste’s sister, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio said translated in Filipino,”Sinabihan siya ng doktor na maari na siyang umuwi ng kanyang bahay.”
Inday announced on March 16 that her younger brother was under self-quarantine after he experienced sore throat, cough, and fever.

The Davao City Vice Mayor had a trip to Metro Manila during the time that there were already local transmissions of COVID-19. Because of this, he was included in Persons Under Monitoring (PUM), based on the article. People who traveled to a city or country with confirmed cases are automatically considered PUMs.
On the other hand, Person Under Monitoring (PUI) is the term used to people who had direct contact with a person infected with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, as of March 23, the Department of Health has recorded a total of 462 confirmed cased of coronavirus in the Philippines. The health department has been reiterating people to stay at home as much as possible in order to avoid being infected.
