This, after Senator Pacquiao was spotted having in contact with Senator Koko Pimentel, who has tested positive for COVID-19 or coronavirus disease.
According to Rossana Hwang, the barangay captain of Barangay Dasmariñas in Makati City, she advised Senator Pacquiao and his family not to go outside their house. Jayke Joson, Senator Pacquiao’s special assistant, said that Pacquiao and his family were under self-quarantine even without the recommendation from the barangay council.
Currently, three Philippine senators — Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senator Sonny Angara, and Senator Koko Pimentel — have tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
