Argentine Authorities Record 1st Coronavirus Case in Argentina

ARGENTINA – The Argentine authorities confirmed the first case of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the country.

The 2019 novel coronavirus has became one huge global fight after it infected several countries across the globe. The said disease was first detected in Wuhan City, China.

There are speculations that the coronavirus which is characterized by flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, and breathing difficulties came from bats. It has yet to be proven and the speculations that the outbreak in China came from bat soup in Wuhan has yet to be confirmed.

Currently, not only China but as well as Iran, South Korea, Italy, United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore among others are battling against the 2019 novel coronavirus. Strict measures are implemented to prevent its spread.

Every day, more and more countries are confirming cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus. Recently, Argentina confirmed its 1st case of the rampant disease.

Based on a report on Anadolu Agency, the patient is a 43-year-old male. The country’s health minister, Gines Gonzalez, revealed that the patient came from a trip to Italy.

Italy is now on a tight watch following the increasing cases of coronavirus infection. The same thing goes on in South Korea and Iran.

According to the report, it was in March 1 when the patient arrived in Argentina. Gonzalez expressed that he is now confined and treated in a hospital. The patient has a “mild complexity”.
