DOH Update on the New Coronavirus Cases in the Philippines
NEW CORONAVIRUS CASES IN THE PHILIPPINES – The Department of Health (DOH) recorded twelve (12) new confirmed cases of coronavirus.
The Filipinos are currently on the watch for the coronavirus cases in the Philippines. Several local government units (LGUs) have announced confirmed cases of the said disease.
Most coronavirus patients in the Philippines are recorded in areas within Metro Manila. Currently, the whole of the Metro is under a “community quarantine”.
All the travels by land, air, and sea to and from Metro Manila will be suspended starting March 15, 2020. Classes were also suspended and only those who have work may be allowed to cross cities.
Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) gave an update on the new coronavirus cases in the Philippines. Based on its post on Facebook, 12 new COVID-19 cases were recently confirmed bringing the total to 64.
The coronavirus patients are in isolation. Health Secretary Francisco Duque III asks for cooperation and help from the people on the contact tracing and the investigation.
The DOH Secretary stressed that the chances for recovery from the novel coronavirus are high. He is asking the confirmed patients to let the hospitals take care of them.
